1. Who may enter this competition?

Australian & NZ residents who purchase a PowerShot, IXUS or EOS Camera or Canon lens from a Harvey Norman store during the promotion period.

4. When will winners be announced?

5. Where will the winner be announced?

Winners will be contacted by mail and telephone; they will also appear on the website.

6. Will late entries be accepted?

No

7. How many times can I enter?

There is no limit to the number of images you can upload.

8. May I load landscape or portrait photos?

Both formats are accepted.

9. What size does my image need to be?

More than 500KB and less than 10MB

10. What format should my image be?

JPEG

11. How do I make sure my image is the correct size & format?

1. Go to the functions menu. Make sure you shoot your pictures on quality setting ‘L’.
2. All photos uploaded are to be in their original unedited form in JPEG format, which will retain the ‘EXIF’ shooting data. If you shoot in ‘RAW’ format, please use the Canon Zoombrowser, or Digital Photo Professional software to convert to JPEG, ensuring the final file size is less than 10MB.

12. Do I have to relinquish my copyright?

No, you do not. Copyright remains with you, but Canon and Harvey Norman will have a licence to display, reproduce, modify and otherwise use your submitted photos as specified in clause 17I of the Terms & Conditions

13. Who judges the images?

Representatives of both Canon and Harvey Norman.

14. Will my photo appear in advertising?

All images submitted to the website may be used in point of sale promotional material in Harvey Norman stores nationwide.

15. Can I edit my photos?

No photo manipulation is permitted.
